That's the part I lead. The build tends to go better when someone's doing that work.

Most complex projects don't fail.
They just cost more than they should, take longer than they should, and end with an owner who's relieved it's over instead of proud of what got built.
The difference rarely comes down to the team. It comes down to whether anyone was leading that team toward the owner's interests — not just managing it.

When this work is in place, the owner's experience is quieter than it sounds. Decisions arrive when they should, not when the team needs an answer yesterday. You stay engaged in what matters and out of what doesn't. Problems surface before they get expensive.
